Level 2 Children and Young People's Workforce

This qualification is for those who work with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age and wish to build and
develop the knowledge and skills needed in this role

Level 2 Diploma for Early Years Practitioner

The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to seven years of age with applied knowledge in the early years, 0–5 years. The qualification content meets the Department for Education’s (DfE) Level 2 full and relevant criteria for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner in the workforce.

Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce

This qualification is for those who work in a supervisory role within a children and young people's workforce environment who are looking to develop their skills and knowledge further

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare

 

 

The qualification enables the learner to gain essential skills and knowledge to support children and young people in residential childcare settings, including well-being and resilience, positive relationships and attachments, health and safety, sexual exploitation, communication, positive behavior and positive outcomes.
It also offers the learner the opportunity to cover optional topics which are particularly suited to specific residential childcare and
respite care settings.
New residential care workers will need to achieve the qualification within two years from employment.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) has been developed to give
learners the opportunity to:

  • demonstrate competence as a Residential Childcare manager
  • develop knowledge, understanding and skills related to the leadership and management of practitioners in Residential Childcare
  • have existing skills recognised
  • engage in learning that is relevant to them and which will provide opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life
  • achieve a nationally recognised Level 5 vocationally related qualification
  • progress to employment in Residential Childcare
  • progress to related general and/or vocational qualifications.

Level 2 - Facilities Services Principles

This qualification is for learners who are looking to gain knowledge about working in a facilities environment, such as care taker,  concierge, estate operative, etc.

Level 3 Facilities Management

A Facilities Manager is responsible for the safe, secure and comfortable day-to-day working environment for properties, assets (e.g. equipment) and services that must be fully compliant with health and safety and other legislation. They are accountable for the management of the delivery of all FM services within their local area of responsibility e.g. for one or more contracts/services; specific services e.g. cleaning, maintenance or fleet services. They will ensure that levels of performance delivered exceed customer expectations within budget for the properties, assets and services.
